Unique Method: "Painting with a Needle"
The main feature of Nadiia Holovachuk’s work is her original, patented technique of artistic satin stitching. Unlike classical methods, her works are called “painting with a needle” due to their incredible detail and volume.
The Magic of Light: The secret lies in the specific angle of the stitch. The thread is laid on the canvas in such a way that, under different lighting, the work “comes to life,” creating a 3D effect and imitating the impasto strokes of oil paints.
Daylight as a Condition: The master works exclusively under natural lighting. Only sunlight allows her to unerringly select the subtlest transitions of shades and create the necessary depth.

Nadiia’s professional path began in 1988 in Kaniv. An embroidered portrait seen in the Taras Shevchenko Museum struck her so deeply that she promised her mentor, Lidiia Polishchuk, to dedicate her life to this art.
