Ksenia P’Art: Music, Emotions, and the Development of Creativity

Ksenia P'Art is not just a singer and composer, but a vivid example of how creativity becomes a source of strength in the most difficult conditions. Combining motherhood, active career development, and deep emotional experiences, Ksenia finds a way to transform pain into music. In this interview, we learn how her "Universe of Music" originated, how the poignant trilogy of songs about the war was born, and what ambitious projects she plans to implement, following her motto: "Wherever I am, music must sound."

Ksenia, your acquaintance with music began with a "magic" piano. How did this early hobby transform into a calling, and at what point did you realize that composing your own melodies was easier and more interesting for you than learning the works of others?

At some point, my inner musical Universe became so vast that it simply displaced everything else. Music turned into my way of transmitting Light into the world, and I focused entirely on that. It flows out of me as a stream of love and joy, and I am left only to have time to pass it on to people.

Because of this, I lost the desire to learn other people’s works, even the most famous ones. Why, if a whole ocean of beauty, feelings, and messages sounds inside me? I simply don’t have time to repeat after others—it is important for me to have time to remember and record what is born within myself.

Your life is very busy: motherhood, work, active development of creativity. We know that it is emotionally difficult for you to experience the war in Ukraine. In these conditions, how do you find time and inspiration for your creativity, and how do you manage to combine the role of a mother with such active activity?

I would say that in this difficult time, it is creativity that gives inspiration to move forward and continue to develop. The role of a mother skillfully fits into a non-stop schedule—my every day consists of 7–9 hours of learning, 7–8 hours of work, and this is a daily continuous process of diverse activities, in which a beautiful, growing daughter simply needs attention, so we do everything together, harmoniously and very actively!

The song "Angel's Yellow Roses" became your dedication to Ukrainian defenders. Tell us about the key moment that made you create this poignant composition, and how did this personal experience affect your further creative development?

Undoubtedly, the basis for its appearance was a strong emotional experience, a rethinking of life values and meanings, and an awareness of the importance of peace and the worthlessness of human life. This composition reminds us of the power of love and its deep values, that it is capable of supporting and healing beyond time and distance. Of course, the emotions experienced were so deep that it became the first in a trilogy about the war.

Over the past year, you have released a lot of new material, including the song "Mother’s and wife’s crying." What inspired you to create this composition, and what emotions do you think it conveys most strongly to listeners?

Following it, the composition “Tears of Mothers and Wives” was released. It is about the endless pain of loss that mothers and wives of the fallen defenders of Ukraine have to experience today, and about how this pain is capable of turning into strength and the desire to live on and give the opportunity to walk one’s path, helping others, transforming suffering into Light and Love for those who remained alive and continue to fight.

We know that you actively transform emotions into help. What motivates you the most, and how do you translate your inner empathy into such concrete and significant social projects?

One of the main directions of my activity is spiritual development; it is what helps to confirm that the greatest satisfaction lies not in wealth, luxury, and a carefree life, but in action, participation, and the effort to give what different people need, in different life periods and situations, in different parts of the world.

You have been a member of the Global Talent Confederation project for over a year. What new creative ideas and changes in the approach to creativity have occurred during this period, and how has this affected the development of your career?

Currently, I am working on the third composition of the trilogy, “Love life,” which I hope will soon be presented to listeners. It is about Victory… of love and life over wars, about love for family, home, motherland, about the path of transformations and the readiness to protect one’s values and identity, as well as the need to value every day of one’s life.

The Global Talent Confederation project does a great job of organizing and implementing the work of talents, provides support, and gives strength to move forward, for which I am very grateful to its founder Inessa Belaya and the entire team. Thanks to my membership, I got the opportunity to be in an environment of masters, professionals, and incredibly talented people, which, undoubtedly, nurtures and inspires. Throughout this period, I enjoyed the creativity of my colleagues in the project, plunged even deeper into the magical world of music, and saw further paths of my creative development in a new way.

In addition to releasing new songs, what significant achievements or career events related to your musical or social activities do you consider key in the development of your name over the past year?

Among the memorable events of the year was a chamber concert in London, at the Victoria & Albert Museum, where my instrumental works were performed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Also, a performance took place in one of the largest medical centers in Odesa for adults and children undergoing treatment there, as well as for the medical and administrative staff of the center. It is a great happiness to see a spark in sad eyes and smiles on tired faces… music heals souls and hearts, so it should sound everywhere where it can bring joy and give minutes of rest. In the sphere of participation in social life, of course, the most important and significant was the participation in the fundraiser for the purchase of generators and heating points for the front line for our defenders.

Tell us about the instrumental works performed at the Victoria & Albert Museum: which specific compositions were performed? Tell us more about it.

These were beautiful compositions, among them: “Rain forest”, “Gloria Domine”, “Quiet happiness”. I wanted to support the magical atmosphere of this significant and historical place by performing bright and kind music. As we know, it has its own inexpressible vibrations that are capable of affecting the environment in the same way as any other physical manifestation of action.

Your career includes performances at festivals in Germany and work in choirs. What major creative events, competitions, or festivals have you visited or participated in over the past year?

I devoted the past year to writing and recording new songs and, importantly, fighting for copyrights and against such a phenomenon as plagiarism. A staggering story, in which my song was appropriated and my name was under threat, allowed me to grow above myself, to take the value and importance of my works more consciously, to take up jurisprudence in the field of copyright protection, and to tune in to the fight for them. Unfortunately, the fact is absolutely obvious that impunity for such acts provides opportunities for them to flourish.

Your life formula: "Wherever I am, music must sound." What are the main musical projects, creative dreams, or goals you set for yourself for the coming years?

Yes… I follow the formula of my life everywhere and always… and it works perfectly. Now the plans are to organize a concert for Christmas and New Year holidays for our little Ukrainians, to give joy, warmth, and a fairy tale to children… after all, they always wait for this time with special anticipation, and the impressions received after such events are carried through their whole lives. I also continue to work on my creativity, I am open to collaborations and projects in all genres—because music is limitless in its manifestation.

What are your plans regarding concert performances in Ukraine and abroad in the near future? Are there specific cities or festivals in which you would like to take place?

As the started projects are implemented, next year I plan to take part in the all-Ukrainian festival LvivArtContest and the international vocal competition “Unforgettable Flower” , dedicated to the great Ukrainian singer Kvitka Cisyk. Regarding international projects, in the near future, I think it would be great to go to Eurovision as a participant.

The story of Ksenia P'Art is a powerful testament to how creativity becomes a force capable of healing and supporting. From performances at the Victoria & Albert Museum and medical centers to an active fight for copyrights, Ksenia proves that music must sound everywhere. Actively developing within the Global Talent Confederation, she sets ambitious goals: from completing the trilogy about the war and organizing Christmas concerts for children to potential participation in Eurovision. Following her formula: "Wherever I am, music must sound," Ksenia P'Art inspires by example of how personal pain can be transformed into Light and Love, which she generously gives to the world.
